The BGE consortium, of which GESTE is a member, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the engineering mandate for metro equipment for the development project of the m2-m3 automatic metros for the city of Lausanne.
Led by BG Consulting Engineers with EGIS Rail and GESTE Engineering as co-contractors, this mandate covers the engineering of the nine equipment areas present on the m2-m3, namely Communication Networks - Transmission, Energy, Active Equipment for Stations and Tunnels, Platform Façades, Smoke Control, Fluids, Equipment Supervision, Station and Tunnel Second-Work, Track.
With the acquisition of this new mandate, GESTE confirms its position as a major player in local projects, having already participated in the construction of the Lausanne m2 metro line. The company is proud to participate in the development of efficient and innovative public transport within the Lausanne-Morges agglomeration, which is the objective of the "Strategic Axes" project led by the Canton of Vaud and tl, in partnership with the city of Lausanne.
