In 2019, Société du Grand Paris (SGP) launched a negotiated procedure to award a new general contracting assistance contract to help it pursue the design and construction of line 18 of the Grand Paris Express (GPE) between Orly and Versailles Chantiers.
This new general contracting assistance contract covers a very broad scope, including the underground and overhead infrastructures, the rail systems, the operation and maintenance center and the ten stations on this 35-km line. In addition to assisting the SGP in managing the various stakeholders, it also includes works and testing operations to monitor, as closely as possible to the field, the development of the construction and the processing of the planning interfaces.
In order to meet this challenge and support SGP until the line is fully commissioned in 2030, BG, Transamo, Algoé and Geste have joined forces to form the Link18 consortium, which SGP notified of the contract on November 17, 2020.
Within Link18:
- BG is the group's representative and brings, in addition to its experience acquired since 2013 within the Artémis group, general AMO for lines 15, 16 and 17 of the GPE, its know-how in transport infrastructure and underground works.
- Transamo and Algoé preserve the history of the project and guarantee the continuity of the actions, since they are both members since 2015 of the current general AMO of line 18. They bring their recognized competence in complex project management and support of the contracting authorities on large-scale transport projects.
- GESTE, already active on several projects of the GPE, brings its expertise in urban rail transport systems and, in particular, in the commissioning of automatic metros.
Our four companies are particularly proud to have won this contract and to be able to put their know-how and their energy at the service of the GPE and this outstanding project.
