INNOVATION
Innovative solutions for the safety and transport of tomorrow
In the field of mobility in general, innovation is on the agenda. It pushes us to seek safer and more efficient solutions which are simultaneously more respectful of the environment. It is based on new technologies and increasingly on artificial intelligence, which is taking over certain tasks that were once performed by humans. This is the result of the 4.0 revolution: automated driving and detection is becoming an objective in itself, while improving safety is a necessity. In this context, new challenges are appearing: the adaptation of current standards and the approval of new products. There is a major issue associated with these challenges: cybersecurity.
GESTE, a former research project start-up (Swissmetro), has experts in safety, automation and equipment who are capable of handling and managing these new areas. We advise project managers and support companies in their R&D and approval for new products; we integrate innovation into our daily activities by participating in research work, writing new software, developing and applying BIM (Building Information Modelling) in our design activities and applying new processes.
We forge links between the research community, companies, contracting authorities and supervisory authorities, in the interest of progress, efficiency and safety.
