EQUIPMENT

Electromechanical equipment is a fundamental element in the proper functioning of transport systems. Whether it is integrated on-board a vehicle, at a station or depot, or even along a railway line, there is always more and more of it. It is also installed in a confined space and its different elements must coexist to provide, when put together, the services required for the transport system. Multidisciplinary knowledge, mastery of different sectors and interface management are essential elements to ensure equipment is optimally integrated and functions properly as a whole.

GESTE, reinforced by specialists when necessary, brings together the skills and knowledge necessary to ensure the suitable design of equipment in its environment. In particular we have physicists, electricians, mechanics, IT and safety engineers, qualified and experienced, supported by a team of technicians and designers. After auditing the equipment in place, the team is also able to propose a coherent maintenance and modernisation strategy for it to cope with obsolescence, normative developments and changing requirements. It then takes part in defining investment programmes.
