As part of the RIM Lot B (Renouvellement Intégral de la ligne du Mandement) project carried out by SBB CFF FFS, 2 switches and 1,044ml of track were laid and renewed between Satigny and La Plaine.

Treatment of the infrastructure and drainage of the V580 during an initial 18-day emergency operation involving the removal and reinstallation of 522ml of track in accordance with the new geometry.

Treatment of the infrastructure and drainage of the V680 during a second 21-day emergency operation involving the renewal of 522ml of track and the installation of 2 new BS VI - 900 - 1:19 - Bé turnouts.

Now it's over to the other rail engineering departments before returning in October to complete the diagonals with the laying of the last 2 switches and 522ml of track.

GESTE Engineering is acting as track contract manager for this project on behalf of SBB CFF FFS and Pierre-Yves Karp's team.
