Submission of the PAP

The PAP (Plan Approval Procedure) for our TransCafé Express train from the Renens office has been filed with the Federal Office of Transport. The purpose of this train is to bring the coffee from our cafeteria to our large meeting room (red line on the plan).

Obtaining the PAP

In a record time of only 24 hours, contrary to the usual 9 months, we obtained the DAP (Decision of approval of the plans) from the Federal Office of Transport of coffee. We are thus able to meet the deadline for commissioning this Friday around 12:00.

Realization file

Following the obtaining of the DAP, we prepared the file of realization on the basis of the documents projects by taking into account the loads announced by the Federal Office of Transport... of coffee. The construction can be done according to the rules of art.

Realization and tests

The commissioning is approaching at high speed, the construction has been completed on time and the line is now ready for the commissioning tests.

The train and its infrastructure will be tested and assessed today by our certified expert, who will check, among other things, all the elements relevant to safety, including runs without and with coffee transport.

After verification that the installation has been built in accordance with the approved plans and construction documents, the expert will issue an operating permit together with the infrastructure manager, pending the final blessing of the Federal Office of Transport ... of coffee, scheduled for Friday, October 7 at 12:45.

Commissioning

We are pleased to announce that this morning the TransCafé Express was successfully put into service in our Renens premises. The inauguration was done with the participation of Mrs. Isabelle Moret, State Councillor of Vaud, Leo Brunner, Head of the Technical Safety Section of the Federal Office of Transport, his collaborator Patrick Favre, our director Michele Mossi as well as a great team of customers, partners and collaborators.
