The LEB (Lausanne-Echallens-Bercher) line linking Gros-de-Vaud to Lausanne will be able to open its new tunnel between the Union-Prilly and Lausanne-Chauderon stations on May 15. This underground link was designed to avoid and limit the cohabitation between the train, cars, cyclists and pedestrians, which was becoming increasingly dangerous, towards the Avenue d'Echallens. With the current 15-minute service, this will also allow us to move to a 10-minute service by 2035.
We are proud to intervene on this beautiful project as project manager within the framework of the GIT-LEB+ Grouping with MONOD - PIGUET + ASSOCIÉS Ingénieurs Conseils SA, Karakas & Français SA, CSD INGENIEURS and Basler & Hofmann, for which GESTE Engineering SA is responsible for the following lots
-
railway technology (track, contact line, traction currents, signalling and safety installations);
-
technical equipment (ventilation, fire detection and control, cables, low voltage, SCADA)
-
and security.
We look forward to seeing you on May 15 for the commissioning of this new tunnel!
