With the aim of capturing the existing state of the Biel-Mett railway station, GESTE Engineering produced a scatter plot for its client SBB CFF FFS. The survey was planned and carried out with the requirements and standards of the BIM@CFF program in mind, in order to prepare BIM models of the existing condition.

The ALLNAV X7 laser scanner was recommended. In addition, the location of the scanning stations was studied in advance to ensure the necessary precision for each area of the railway to be modeled.

The work was coordinated by our geomatician Alexandre Maeder, under the responsibility of our BIM Manager Fernanda Benezra.
