With over 20 years' experience in signalling and automation, safety and rail operations, GESTE Engineering has in-depth knowledge of various generations of equipment - from relay technology to electronics - and is able to intervene effectively on old installations as well as deploy the most modern technologies. Our experts, recognized as such by the supervisory authorities, also master on-board signalling systems, such as ERTMS, and driverless automation, such as CBTC. They also work with companies and operators to develop new technologies, enabling driverless automation and operation of rail lines and depots, for example.
The Signalling & Automation (SIG) Business Unit (BU) carries out all the SIA phases of a project (SIA phases 11-21, 31-33, 41 and 51-53), including :
-
The development of deployment strategies for new safety installations, taking into account the constraints and requirements of the various players and operators,
-
the deployment of new safety installations,
-
deployment of train control systems (ETCS, ZBMS),
-
deployment of new driving systems (remote control),
-
deployment of on-board systems,
-
ATO GoA 1 to 4 line automation,
-
modification and adaptation of existing systems (computerized or relay interlockings),
-
project and product expertise in compliance with CENELEC standards,
-
standards, etc.
And this for the following fields of activity:
-
Lateral (conventional) or on-board ERTMS rail signalling (ETCS L1, L1LS, L2, L3),
-
National lateral rail signalling (ZBMS, TBL1+, ATB, KVB, ATC2, etc.),
-
Tramway signalling,
-
Signalling and automated metro systems (CBTC) with or without driver (ATP, ATS and ATO in GoA1 to 4),
-
Depot signalling and automation,
-
Level crossings with rail and road signalling,
-
Autonomous and innovative vehicles,
-
etc.
